Representative examples of Lawrence’s work includes: leadership and execution in statewide technology initiatives for public and private health entities (such as the Provider Directory implementation, Quality Payment Program – Small, Underserved, Rural Support (QPP-SURS) and health information exchange; system replacements across most provider and plan operations; initiatives to strengthen client teamwork and team;, patient-centered care and enabling information technology including unified communications, telehealth, customer call center and patient safety.
Lawrence earned his M.P.A. and B.S. in public administration from California State University, Sacramento. A skilled public speaker, Lawrence has presented to over 25 forums, including the California State Board of Education, the Clark County (Nevada) Board of Supervisors, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society National Conference and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
