October 2021 NEWSLETTER

It’s been quite a year for everyone, and Freed Associates is no exception. Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating our 30th anniversary. We appreciate your support in helping us reach this milestone. As we look to 2022, there are significant trends that will drive change in our industry, including momentum for recognizing the total human experience in managing care, the shift to developing innovative partnerships between healthcare organizations and communities, and the pursuit of health equity. You can read about Freed’s perspective on these trends in our recap of the California Association of Health Plans Conference.

I’m proud to announce the addition of Jonathan Saylors, our new Vice President of Client Solutions. Jonathan brings a wealth of valuable expertise to Freed derived from years of experience working with national and regional health systems, academic medical systems, hospitals, medical groups, pharmaceutical companies and health plans.

I am also thrilled to announce that Shanti Wilson, who has been with Freed for nine years, will be joining our VP ranks in the coming year. Creative and pragmatic, Shanti has extensive experience supporting a wide variety of clients in state and federal health systems, hospitals, health plans, community clinics, independent physician associations, federally qualified health centers, and rural community physician practices.

Last and not least, this issue of our newsletter has an insightful article about lessons the healthcare industry can learn from consumer and service sectors regarding digital transformation.

Best,
