August 2023 Edition

We’re over halfway through the year, and our expert consultants are working hand in hand with clients to meet complex strategic and operational goals for 2023. While we’re addressing immediate needs, we’re also looking ahead and keeping an eye on the major challenges that our industry is tackling.

In May, we hosted an industry expert panel discussion at the CAHP Seminar on Data titled Health Equity and Quality Data: Going Beyond Regulatory Compliance. This powerful conversation focused on how health plans are collecting new equity and quality data measures to gain a 360-degree view of member health in order to address individual needs.

Hospital readmissions continue to drive up costs and drive down quality of care. We recently helped a client achieve significant savings by improving and standardizing the collection of readmission data to effectively assess and apply appropriate interventions. You can learn more by reading our case study, Hospital Readmission Reduction Program Saves Healthcare Organization $5.5M in First Year.

Finally, if you aren’t caught up on the latest from our Healing Healthcare podcast series, be sure to watch the newest episode, Improving Mental Health Outcomes. In this episode, expert psychologist Dr. Rachna Saralkar dives into reasons for the mental health crisis and opportunities for healthcare organizations to improve access to and quality of care.
