Andrew D. Platt joined Freed Associates as Chief Financial Officer in 2023. Passionate, analytical, and strategic, Andrew brings more than 20 years of finance and business experience to Freed.  His background in a diverse spectrum of roles allows Andrew to quickly identify the key performance levers of a business, and then build strategic improvements to consistently achieve organizational success. During his career, he has worked for consulting firms, e-commerce and logistics providers, and business-to-business service providers.

As a key member of the Freed Associates executive team, Andrew provides the firm and its clients with cutting-edge knowledge and thinking around consulting industry best practices, enabling Freed to better serve its clients and optimize client value.

Andrew earned his Master of Business Administration from the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and his Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics from Oberlin College. He received his certificate in financial accounting from the Harvard Business School.
