Lee

Heather Lee has been a valued member of Freed Associates since 1999, bringing over two decades of experience in consulting, operations, and leadership. As Operations Leader, Heather oversees day-to-day business functions, including resource management, IT, professional development, and operational planning. She partners closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement processes, policies, and controls that ensure efficient and effective business operations, while fostering collaboration across Freed’s teams.

In addition to her operational responsibilities, Heather serves as Freed’s historian, leveraging the firm’s past work and methodologies to support client delivery and drive innovation in new tools and approaches. She manages staffing and resource assignments, facilitates internal governance and communications, administers consultant and client executive incentive programs, and leads change management initiatives that enhance cross-functional efficiency.

Prior to her leadership role, Heather contributed as a Freed consultant on large-scale health system projects, including systems implementation and project management. Heather’s passion for healthcare started as a researcher for the Health Care Advisory Board, and she went on to work for a Medi-Cal health plan, as well as public sector and pharmaceutical consulting firms before joining Freed Associates. Heather earned her BA in English from Georgetown University.
