Joella Canales

With 25 years of healthcare experience, Joella brings leadership and subject matter expertise to clients requiring strategic support in clinical operations, compliance, risk adjustment, and care management development and transformation. She is passionate about collaborating with healthcare organizations to build new or redesign existing programs to ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time and in the right setting. Joella has also successfully overseen regulatory audits, led case and utilization management system implementations, and optimized medical management workflows.

She combines her vast industry experience with strong data analysis and process improvement skills to help healthcare systems, health plans, and medical groups provide higher-quality care. Outside of work, Joella enjoys spending time with her kids and exploring new areas. Joella earned her Master of Public Administration and Master of Health Services Administration from the University of San Francisco and her Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.
