Seel

Mike Seel joined Freed Associates in 1994. He has worked with providers across the care continuum and most often finds himself as a bridge connecting operational, clinical, financial and technical teams. Whether framing an actionable plan to implement a strategic initiative, developing cross-functional teams, or defining strategies for stakeholder engagement, Mike excels at bringing companies through major transitions.
Mike has worked with a range of health systems and physician groups in both the acute care and ambulatory settings. Examples include oversight of an improvements program multihospital health system’s revenue cycle to drive organizational redesign, process improvements, technology enhancements and automation, and reporting/analytics capabilities. He has also directed efforts to operationalize and implement a medical center merger to create a new regional entity and oversaw strategic planning for an enterprise facilities plan focused on ambulatory services.
Mike earned an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of Freed Associates, Mike spends his time planning adventures with his family, whether it is traveling internationally, road tripping through the West or simply finding new restaurants in the Bay Area.
