What a great Olympics! The fact that so many California athletes competed in the recent Rio 2016 Olympics was no accident; rather it is a continuation of a decades-long trend. Due to California’s stellar weather, exceptional training resources and a competitive culture, our state has long been home to a high number of successful Olympians. For instance, out of the record 550+ athletes who comprised the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team, more than one-fifth came from the Golden State. What accounts for this apparent Olympian anomaly? Beyond external factors, I believe that many of the attributes of successful world-class athletes — talent, drive, discipline, determination, focus and more — are also found in many successful California businesses and organizations. It’s as if a state-wide culture of can-do success builds upon even more successes in multiple fields of play.Over the past 25 years, Freed Associates has benefitted from and contributed to this bountiful environment of attainment. Our consultants gain significant experience and insight from their client engagements and share their expertise and vision in helping premier health care organizations excel. Here you’ll see examples of some of our most recent collaborative client achievements. I wish similar successes to you and your organizations.Best regards, Dava Freed
