On July 21st, two of Freed’s Southern California consulting staff participated as guest lecturers at USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy.
Freed’s staff shared real-world insights into the subtleties of professional Project Management with over 20 students in a graduate-level Healthcare IT class. The students learned about the importance of simple, streamlined communications, and the wisdom of employing goal-defined program management principles that mitigate risk and improve project success.
Adjunct professor, Dave McCobb, said he was delighted with how engaged his students were, and how their questions tended to focus on how project management knowhow will influence future career choices.
Freed has shared similar educational insights with both clients and other universities in California. As stated by Dava Freed, “Of the many means of giving back to our community, we’re particularly fond of the opportunity to help develop our future healthcare leaders. There’s no better place to do so than in California’s universities.”
